There’s nothing like some old favorites to ease you into a Monday morning — even if they’re not your own. With Favorite Places, Google lets you explore the favorite spots of experts from cities around the world. Choose to browse worldwide or get a closer look at specific cities, including New York, Tokyo and Madrid and pick the brain of locals like Mayor Michael Bloomberg, architect Akihisa Hirata and pop singer Coti Sorokin, respectively. Grab lunch in Thailand with famed El Bulli chef Ferran Adrià and find cellist Yo-Yo Ma‘s favorite New York City bagels. Go island hopping with explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau, or spend a day shopping with designer Diane von Furstenberg. And since it’s Google, each destination comes complete with photos, and you never more than a click away from full details about each place, including website and driving direction.
