While last year’s event set the world record with a measly 4,170 dancers this year the event’s organizers are aiming big, trying to get 270,000 on board. Already, over 250 locations in 34 countries have signed up. The dance takes place precisely at 12:20 a.m. GMT on Sunday, October 25. (That’s Saturday at 8:30 p.m. in New York City, and 5:30 p.m. in Los Angeles.) Check the web for your town’s meet up location (New Yorkers, you should head to Astoria Park in Queens). There’s less than 24 hours left to sign up, so head over to the site and learn the dance and get ready to set a world record.
We wonder if these guys are taking part?
