Spring is in the air. And in New York that means one thing — the Tribeca Film Festival is back. From April 22 through May 3 take in more than 100 features and shorts at Robert De Niro’s famous festival.
While the beautiful people descend on the city for the annual cinema extravaganza, the festival’s hottest ticket is sure to be the opening night selection: Whatever Works. With Whatever, Woody Allen returns to his hometown, New York, after straying to London (Match Point, Scoop, Cassandra’s Dream) and Barcelona (Vicky Cristina Barcelona). In classic Allen fashion, the dark comedy stars Larry David as an eccentric New Yorker with a much younger wife (Evan Rachel Wood). Sound familiar?
In Museyon’s Guide to Film + Travel, Nisha Gopalan is your guide to New York. She shows you locations from an Allen classic, Annie Hall. Pick it up when it hits stores this June.
