No plans for the weekend? How about learning to scuba dive, rock climb and zip line? Do it all and more at the Adventures in Travel Expo.
This Saturday and Sunday the Adventures in Travel Expo brings a world of excitement to New York City. Head to the Javits Center for the scoop on the latest news and trends in travel, including info on this year’s featured destination — Mexico. You’ll also have the chance to get hands on, with exciting activities and events, plus food and vacation giveaways.
Hear from travel experts: including Arthur Frommer tips for cheap travel; Patricia Schultz, author of ‘1,000 Places to See Before You Die’; Holly Morris host of TV’s Globe Trekker; and Zac Sunderland, the youngest person to sail around the globe solo.
Check out the Global Beats Stage: featuring live Thai Boxing, Merengue and Irish dance, African drummers and more.
Try Hands-On Adventure Activities: Bring your swimsuit and learn to scuba dive in the heated pool, climb to the top of the rock while under the watchful eyes of professionals, or fly over head on the zip-line or try your hand at the Adventure Ropes Course.
