News: Lynch + Manson Exhibit in Vienna

David Lynch, 'Eat My Fear'

From June 30th until July 25th, The Kunsthalle Wien project space in Vienna, Austria will be exhibiting a unique show featuring the work of super-alt-rocker Marilyn Manson and director David Lynch. On display are 21 watercolors from Manson and conceptual sculptures from Lynch, both of whom have worked together in several of Lynch’s films with Manson taking on minor roles.
 
The often times disturbing exhibition reflects Manson’s views on his art, which he told Rolling Stone in 2005 “I just don’t think the world is worth putting music into right now, I no longer want to make art that other people – particularly record companies – are turning into a product. I just want to make art.”
