News: CMJ Starts Today!

New York’s CMJ Music Marathon has been happening every October since 1980 and is where artists as diverse as Eminem to The Killers first got their start. This iconic conference/festival/party draws music fans, press and bands from all over the world each year, flooding the Lower East Side and other musical neighborhoods such as Williamsburg in Brooklyn with people seeking out the next big thing in music. This year, we’ve teamed up with the folks behind the music blog The Music Slut at their annual opening day party at the unofficial capital of CMJ, Pianos. Come say hi to our team and check our our newest books as well as Music + Travel, which we’ll have for sale.
