Celebrate: Anna Wintour will be very very angry if you don’t celebrate Fashion’s Night Out. And you don’t want to make Anna Wintour unhappy, do you? This kick off to NYC’s Fashion Week means retailers not only in New York will be celebrating with parties and special in-store deals, but shops and designers around the world.
I’m Still Here – Simply, this film is a documentary on Joaquin Phoenix’s transition from the acting world to a career as an aspiring rapper. But the controversy this doc and subject is so much more: a reveal into the mind of a slowly maddening individual, an actor searching for meaning or perhaps, merely an elaborate hoax.

Bran Nue Dae – An Australian-based, music-driven, road movie/romantic comedy starring Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush. Loosely based on one of Australia’s most beloved and popular musicals, Bran Nue Dae centers on the romantic adventures of a young aboriginal couple set against the spectacularly beautiful Australian landscape.

Night of the Living Trekkies – This sci-fi /zombie/comedy/adventure follows a group of rag-tag Trekkies getting together for the fifth annual FedCon (billed as the “largest Starfleet Convention in the western Gulf Coast region”). The group dressed in homemade uniforms and armed with prop phasers soon find themselves defending their hotel and convention center against hordes of flesh-eating undead. Suddenly, all of their useless knowledge about particle physics and old Star Trek episodes has genuine real-world applications! And while hotel employees and regular civilians are dying left and right, our Trekkies summon strength and courage by emulating their favorite starship-voyaging characters.
America: The Story of Us – Focuses on how events small and large are intrinsically linked to the exploration and innovation, leading us from the frontier to 21st century cities, from the Mississippi to the moon, from Jamestown to 9/11 up to present day. Moving though time and space linking key events, people and locations, capturing the vast sweep of American history- bringing viewers on a journey through the forces that shaped the destiny of America.
