Spotlight: Echoplex and The Echo, LA

The sister venues of Echoplex and The Echo are the stuff of legend in Los Angeles, California. It is where many artists have started illustrious careers like Beck, NIN and Thom Yorke.
 
The Echo is the smaller of the two venues, which can work as a graduation system. A band will come to town and play The Echo, then move onto the larger, cavernous Echoplex. Both venues are located in, not surprisingly, the Echo Park neighborhood of the city.
