Event Reminder: Museyon Storms Brooklyn’s WORD Tomorrow

Just making sure you’ve put it down in your itinerary and updated your iCal—tomorrow we are bringing our world of curated guides to your obsessions to our favorite bookstore on the planet (and from travelers like us that means something), Greenpoint’s own WORD. It’s “Russia Night” over at WORD and we’re packing a big bag of goodies to make the evening something special. On top of a lovely night spent sipping vodka at this sharpest of all shops, you’ll have the added bonus of our presence along with the good people of Jauntsetter (a fine publication), talks on film and music from the motherland by two of our most prized guides, Alina Simone and Laurel Maury, and a special performance by Mike “Vivisector” Antipow of Gulag Tunes. It’s free, so no need to part with your rubles to have a good night out.
