Now I’m not exactly sure who the woman in this video is, or what she’s singing about, but man … is she up against a tough crowd or what? Check out with guy with his hand thoughtfully, pensively, sternly placed on his chin. Or the woman with her arms coldly crossed over her chest. Not a smile in the whole place. Then again, since chanson is the music of the gulag, this is a relatively jubilant reception by a comparatively posi crowd.
